Really leaving,
Oh please don't
Brother please,
It is not your time.
Never leave,
Your wings have grown.
You have left us,
So unexpected,
So young so bright.
Why you,
Not you please,
Let this be a cruel dream.
Unfortunately,
It is not.
A friends life,
Gone to soon,
In the beginning his name,
Is spelled out.
Forever will remember you,
My friend,
Gone but never forgotten.
Your wings were ready,
Everyone's hearts were not,
Fly high,
Save a spot for me.
hello all, thank you again for reading my poetry, this one here is dedicated to a friend of mine who recently passed away, if you look carefully the first letter in the first 5 lines spells out his name. he struggled to do right in life but honestly he had been doing so much better and i was proud of him for the good he was doing. the changes he was making, he was going to college take his drivers course and test, like he turned his life around, this was so unexpected for everyone. a young life gone way to soon, one person i can thank for being the light at the end of his tunnel is his girlfriend Liz. i haven't met her in person just yet, but by talking with her as of recent she is the sweetest person and the one of the best girls i have talked to. she supported his every decision. she was his rock. thank you for being his better half.
THANK YOU FOR READING
