Wishing Upon Reality

In the hush of midnight’s glow,

Where shadows dance and whispers flow,

I conjure worlds beneath my sigh,

Where dreams take wing and wishes fly.

A silver thread, the moon’s embrace,

Weaves through the fabric of time and space,

Each twinkling star, a tale untold,

Draped in magic, bold and gold.

Would that my dreams were not mere mist,

But anchors real, too bright to resist;

Through endless fields, I’d run and play,

In wonderlands where colors sway.

Each hope, a seed that yearns to sprout,

In realms where fear and doubt are out,

I’d sip from streams of endless grace,

And dance with joy in nature’s embrace.

But as the dawn steals night away,

Reality returns to sway,

Yet still I dream, for dreams ignite,

A spark that holds through day and night.

So here I stand, my chest aglow,

With wishes whispered soft and low;

For dreams, though fleeting, shine so bright,

I’ll carry them into the light.
