When Shadows Fade and Truth Prevails

In the quiet moments when shadows recede,

And darkness softly yields to dawn’s gentle heed,

There lies a truth long hidden in the deep,

A secret buried, now beginning to seep.

The veil that cloaked our eyes, so thick and tight,

Begins to lift, revealing day from night,

What once was shadowed in confusion’s haze,

Emerges clear

a beacon through the maze.

The past, like whispers on a restless breeze,

Unfolds its stories, bringing no more disease

But lessons wrapped in sorrow’s tender fold,

A chance for healing, a story retold.

Forgiveness is a river, flowing wide,

Washing away the hurt we often hide,

It calls us gently, whispering soft and true,

To let go of the weight we carry through.

For in forgiving, we set ourselves free,

Unlocking chains that bind inevitably,

A gift of grace we give to those who’ve wronged,

And in return, our hearts are still strong.

To forgive does not mean forget or deny,

But to see the pain and choose not to lie,

To acknowledge wounds, both old and new,

And find compassion

not for them, but for you.

For when the truth is brought into the light,

We see the world in colors bold and bright,

No longer will the shadows trap our soul,

Forgiveness makes the fractured whole.

So let the brightness of the truth shine through,

Illuminate what was hidden from view,

And with an open heart, release the pain,

Embrace the dawn, and start anew again.

Remember, healing takes time’s gentle hand,

A journey inward, across shifting sand,

But know that every dusk turns into dawn,

And in forgiveness, we are reborn.
