Thunder and Chaos: Inside the Mind

In the depths where shadows twist and turn,
Thoughts collide like clashing waves,
Echoes of thunder, fierce and stern,
A tempest rages that none can brave.
Whispers of worry, they claw and scrape,
Lightning strikes with a flash of fright,
Forming a dance, an unyielding shape,
A whirlwind spirals into the night.
Heavy clouds,
so thick, they blind the day,
Mountains of memories burst forth like rain,
Cascading fears that lead me astray,
Puddles of doubt, wading through pain.
But through the storm,
a flicker of light,
A calm emerges as thunder subsides,
In the silence, I discover my fight,
The chaos retreats as hope confides.
Each raindrop a thought,
a tip of the hat,
To growth,
resilience,
the power within,
The storms may return,
like a cat and its mat,
But peace will reign; I’ll rise up again.
