In the hush of twilight’s grace,
A wolf emerges, regal, wild,
With fur like shadows, eyes like stars,
In moonlight’s dance, the forest smiled.
He raises his muzzle to the sky,
An ancient song begins to swell,
Notes of longing, freedom’s cry,
Echoes through the night so well.
The silver light bathes his sleek form,
As he weaves through the forest deep,
Each step, a whisper, a vengeful storm,
In nature’s rhythm, secrets keep.
The cool breeze kisses the skin,
Fragrant pine fills the air,
A distant echo, a heartbeat thins,
As nature whispers, ‘Be aware!’
Softly shining, a silvery dome,
The moon cradles secrets in her light,
Guiding the wolf, far from home,
Through shadows that dance, igniting flight.
In the choreography of the night,
The wolf twirls with shadows close at hand,
Each leap and bound a joyful flight,
In the moon’s embrace, a wild band.
