Something New

Just the other day,

Thought to myself.

I want something,

Maybe exotic,

Maybe a reptile.

Something new.

A friend wanted to give me,

Something new.

But the plans..

They fell through.

Sadness grew over me,

But as the night went on,

Someone closer to me.

Let me have that something,

That new something.

He's a leopard gecko,

Who's name is,

Enzo.

Here's to something new!

Hello and how is everyone!! Thought I'd share with everyone that I've gained yet another pet in my life and I absolutely love his little self so much! He's a leopard gecko! Not sure of his age, but he's so sweet and docile which is okay for the most part. I try to handle him to get used to my touch. I can't wait to deck out his tank. It's going to be an amazing experience! My first ever reptile! I'm in love! I attached a photo so you all can see him!
