Slurred Confessions

Ah, my friends, my heart's delight,
In this raucous night, we take flight.
From whispered secrets to laughter grand,
Together we stand, hand in hand.
You, who’ve listened to my wild dreams,
And shared in my graduated schemes.
With every sip we share and toast,
It's you I believe, I love the most!
With each drop of liquid gold,
Regrets unfold, bared and bold.
Lost chances that still ache inside,
Decisions made in reckless pride.
Oh, to turn back the clock, take a chance,
In a different world, perhaps a dance.
Yet here I am, with drink in hand,
Musing on all I couldn’t understand.
To the love I lost, I raise my glass,
Through the laughter, we let the minutes pass.
Oh, how your smile lit up the room,
Like a flower bursting to bloom.
Did you know, in my heart you stayed?
Among memories that never fade.
So let me toast to what could be,
Close your eyes, just you and me.
Why do socks always seem to vanish?
How can I become a wizard and not be banished?
If dogs could talk, what tales they’d tell,
Of squirrels and postmen and chasing a spell?
Oh, dear universe, what secrets you hide,
In every giggle and hiccup, in every tide.
Would you grant me wisdom with a single drink?
Show me the world through a tipsy blink!
Here’s to the moments we dared not share,
To burdens that linger and secrets laid bare.
With no walls, no masks, just an open heart,
Let these words fly, let them take part.
In this swirling ocean of truth and dreams,
Where laughter bubbles and hope still gleams.
Together we’re wild, together we’re free,
Let me be me, and you be you, just you and me.
