Rising Through The Highs And Lows

Life is a winding,

restless road,

A dance of sunlight,

shadow,

rain,

A shifting weight,

a changing load,

A melody of joy and pain.

Some days,

the sky is painted gold,

The world feels light beneath my feet,

The stories of my dreams unfold,

And every challenge tastes like sweet.

I laugh with friends,

I chase the wind,

I build my hopes on solid ground,

I feel the strength that lies within,

And marvel at the peace I’ve found.

But then the storm clouds gather fast,

The winds of doubt begin to blow,

The moments bright are quickly past,

And I am left with what I know.

There are nights when silence aches,

When worries crowd my restless mind,

When every step my spirit takes

Feels heavy, slow, and misaligned.

Yet even in the darkest hour,

A stubborn spark refuses end,

It kindles hope,

it grants me power,

It whispers,

“Break, but always mend.”

I’ve learned that life will rise and fall,

That joy and sorrow intertwine,

That every mountain,

every wall,

Is just another chance to shine.

I gather lessons from the pain,

I let the laughter heal my soul,

I walk through sunshine and through rain,

And trust the journey makes me whole.

For every loss,

a seed is sown,

For every tear,

a flower grows,

For every time I’ve felt alone,

A deeper understanding flows.

I will not let the lows define

The boundaries of who I am

I’ll climb,

I’ll stumble,

I’ll realign,

I’ll rise again,

no matter when.

Prosperity is not just gold,

Or trophies shining in the sun

It’s in the stories that I’ve told,

The battles fought, the races run.

It’s in the courage to begin

When everything feels lost or wrong,

It’s in the strength I find within

To sing again a brand new song.

So let the world throw what it may,

Let fortune shift,

let seasons turn

I’ll greet each ever-changing day

With faith in all I’ve yet to learn.

For life is made of ups and downs,

Of broken dreams and hopes restored

But I will wear no bitter crowns,

I’ll prosper still, and move toward

A future bright with possibility,

A heart that’s open,

wise,

and free

For through it all,

I choose to be

Unbroken by adversity.
