Being ready for the day,

Takes energy.

Sometimes energy you don't have.

But yet you still get up,

And gather your thoughts.

Saying hello darkness,

My old friend.

Trying your hardest not to slip,

As you get up,

Out of bed.

Yet the darkness still gets you,

As you stand there,

Looking in the mirror.

Asking what is the point,

Why am i here,

When you hear your name.

You get rushed to get ready,

When mentally you are not.

Physically you are ready for the day,

Mentally you are not.

Hey hey thank you all again and time again for heading over to my blog to give my poems a read. do you ever feel this way? just having to get ready for the day when really you just don't feel like it? yeah i have those days to, but you always have to keep it pushing, no matter how badly you don't you just have to or you will never find your happiness in life.
