Rage and Rhyme

In shadows deep, where secrets lie,
A man stands tall, with a wicked eye,
His words like daggers, sharp and cold,
Lies weave a tapestry, cunning and bold.
With spite in his heart, and malice entwined,
He spins sweet tales, leaving truth maligned,
Each syllable shaped with a venomous bite,
And trust falls shattered, like glass in the night.
In laughter, he feigns, a friend to your face,
Yet hidden behind is a treacherous space,
Empty promises flow from his lips,
While kindness is drowned in deceitful sips.
With each encounter, a game begins anew,
As he crafts narratives, both twisted and skewed,
A puppet on strings, his targets unaware,
They laugh and they joke, steeped in false care.
Behind each compliment, a seed of disdain,
His malicious antics serve only to gain,
For respect holds no value in bitter schemes,
Only shadows and echoes of shattered dreams.
But a liar’s facade can crumble with ease,
One spark of the truth, and the grip will freeze,
The light piercing through, like dawn on the rise,
Will expose all the darkness hidden in lies.
As the storm of deceit begins to swirl,
The innocent suffer, caught in a whirl,
Friendships grow fragile, like reeds in the breeze,
Once bonded in trust, now the ties just tease.
In the heart of the liar, pride will betray,
Yet fate has its ways, and justice will sway,
For spite reaps a harvest of bitterness deep,
And the truth that he silences cannot stay asleep.
In moments of silence, when the world holds its breath,
The echoes of honesty creep in like death,
A thief of the truth, the man takes his rest,
While regret sits beside him, his conscience a guest.
An insidious poison spreads through the air,
A web of grievances, expanding despair,
For every lie told creates a wider rift,
With disdain as the fertilizer, darkness will lift.
Oh, how cruelly the heart starts to shift,
When spite becomes laughter, and kindness a myth,
Yet wisdom whispers softly, “Do not despair,
For truth is a warrior, always laid bare.”
Letting honesty blow through will refresh the view,
Cleansing the shadows, making way for the true,
For while liars may lie and falsehoods may reign,
Honesty, like a phoenix, shall rise up again.
