Pale Moonlight

In candlelight’s soft, flickering glow,

Two souls entwined, where secrets flow.

A brush of fingers, electric, divine,

In the silence between, their hearts intertwine.

The air thickens softly, charged with desire,

Words left unspoken, ignite a fire.

Eyes catch and linger, a silent embrace,

In every glance shared, there’s a daring chase.

Laughter dances lightly, masking the heat,

As teasing glances make their pulses beat.

A whisper escapes, like a sweet, gentle caress,

Each syllable lingers, igniting the rest.

Magnetic attraction pulls them near,

An intoxicating presence, too tempting to fear.

In the shadow of longing, the world fades away,

Two hearts on the brink, in a passionate play.

Time stands suspended, as they hold their breath,

Balancing on the edge of fate and of depth.

For in this tension, where worlds collide,

Lies the thrilling promise of love undenied.
