Amidst the shadows where silence reigns,
I find myself adrift, in this ocean of pain.
Waves of sorrow, relentless and deep,
Pulling me under, stealing my sleep.
In this abyss, where light is drowned,
I search for solace, but none can be found.
Voices echo, whispers of doubt,
A haunting reminder of what life's about.
Each moment lingers, heavy and slow,
Time is a thief, robbing me of the glow.
The surface breaks, a fleeting dream,
But beneath, the darkness begins to scheme.
In the depths, where hope takes flight,
I yearn for a spark, a glimpse of light.
Yet, shadows call, in ceaseless embrace,
And the water's chill wraps me in its lace.
I struggle to breathe, to find my way,
But the currents of despair sweep me away.
Is there a rescue, a raft to find?
Or forever will I linger, shackled and blind?
