In the Echo of Absence

In the garden where laughter once bloomed bright,
Now shadows linger, fading into the night.
Each corner whispers tales of days gone by,
Moments we cherished, now drifting like sighs.
Your voice was a melody, a comforting tune,
Now silence envelops, like the light of the moon.
I reach for your shadow, but it slips through my hands,
In the depths of my heart, a longing that stands.
We shared all our dreams, like stars in the sky,
Now I walk this path with a heavy goodbye.
The photographs linger, your smile frozen in time,
A bittersweet reminder, a poignant rhyme.
Yet in every tear, there's a sparkle of you,
A testament to friendship that forever rings true.
Though you're not beside me, your spirit will stay,
In the laughter of others, in the warmth of the day.
So I’ll carry your essence, as seasons unfold,
In stories and memories, your legacy told.
With each step I take, I’ll honor your light,
For love knows no boundaries, it banishes
