A shining star in the wrestling sky,

With courage fierce and spirit high,

Ashley, you lit up every room,

A beacon of strength amidst the gloom.

With grace and grit, you fought your way,

A warrior brave, come what may,

But behind the smile, a silent fight,

A battle hidden from the light.

Depression’s shadow, dark and deep,

Can often steal away our sleep,

It whispers fears we cannot see,

A silent storm inside of thee.

Yet, Ashley, in your final plea,

You showed the world what pain can be,

A reminder fragile spirits bear,

That mental health needs love and care.

Your memory lives in hearts you've touched,

In fans and friends, so loved so much,

Your legacy, a call to fight,

To shed the darkness, bring to light.

May your story help others find

The strength to leave no one behind,

To speak, to seek, to break the chain,

And heal from pain, again and again.

Forever etched in history’s page,

A hero who danced through life's stage,

Ashley Massaro, your spirit free,

Lives on in hope, in you and me.

In living memory, I wrote this around the time she passed back in 2019 I just never published it. But her memory lives on in the hearts of the fans her family especially her daughter. I want to say if your ever feeling down and depressed don’t ever be afraid to reach out. The struggles are real and your not alone !
