Feeling For You

In the quiet corners of my mind,

You linger softly, a treasure to find.

A spark ignites with every glance,

Yet I hesitate, caught in this dance.

Your laughter echoes, a sweet refrain,

But fear holds me back, a whisper of pain.

I cherish the moments, the warmth of your light,

Yet shadows of doubt keep me up at night.

My heart wants to wander, to leap and to soar,

But echoes of “not yet” keep me wanting more.

I admire from afar, unable to tread,

In the garden of feelings where love's seed is spread.

So I sit with my thoughts, a delicate thread,

Of hope intertwined with a voice in my head.

For while the heart whispers of wishes untold,

I’m not ready for love,

though it’s beautiful gold.

So here we remain, in this sweet limbo,

With dreams of tomorrow and today’s gentle glow.

With time as my ally, I’ll learn to be free

For sometimes, loving means waiting to be.
