Echoes Of Doubt

In the silent chambers of my mind, I dwell,
A shadow lingers, casting its silent spell.
Whispered voices, faint but persistent, repeat,
Questions and uncertainties I cannot defeat.
Amidst the silence, I hear the echoing doubt,
A relentless whisper, never giving out.
It questions my worth, my strength, my place,
Turning my confidence into an unsteady trace.
Each step I take feels fraught with fear,
A trembling voice that whispers near.
“Are you enough? Will you succeed?
Or are you destined to fail, to concede?”
Inside, a storm rages dark and deep,
A constant battle, a restless sleep.
Self-criticism, a tidal wave,
Washing away the hope I once gave.
I search for the light within these shadows,
For a flicker of faith that gently glows.
But doubt’s heavy hand weighs me down,
Turning my joy into silent frowns.
Yet amid the chaos, a small voice persists,
A whisper of courage that still exists.
Reminding me of strength unseen,
Of battles fought, of dreams still keen.
So I strive to drown out the noise,
To find my voice among the ploys.
For even in this internal fight,
There burns a hope, a flickering light.
One day, I’ll rise beyond this cage,
Letting go of self-doubt’s dark rage.
Until then, I hold on, I press through,
Believing in a better view.
For inside me lies a resilient core,
A spirit eager to soar and explore.
And though the doubt may loudly shout,
My longing for peace will triumph out.
