Deep Feeling

In shadows deep where silence weeps,
Pain whispers soft in the dark it keeps.
It dances in echoes of laughter gone,
A ghost of moments where joy was drawn.
It wears a face of love turned cold,
Of promises broken, of stories untold.
In every heartbeat, in every sigh,
Pain plants its roots, and we wonder why.
It creeps through veins like a thief in the night,
Stealing our solace, extinguishing light.
A weight on the chest, a fire in the soul,
Each tear a reminder of a heavy toll.
Yet pain is a teacher, a sculptor of grace,
Carving resilience in the most tender place.
A bridge to connection, to empathy’s cry,
In understanding pain, we learn how to fly.
So let us embrace it, this bittersweet guest,
For within its tight grip, we truly find rest.
In the tapestry woven of joy intertwined,
Pain is a thread that teaches the mind.
