Can’t Be Broken

In the silence where shadows linger low,
Words weave a tapestry, but cannot bestow,
The strength of a heart that refuses to bend,
For some wounds are deeper, yet need not to mend.
A fortress of feelings, resilient and proud,
Stands firm against whispers, defiant, unbowed.
Though language may falter in attempts to define,
What’s anchored within, remains sacred, divine.
Words may dance lightly on the surface of pain,
But cannot unearth what the soul does contain.
They flutter like leaves caught in tempestuous skies,
Yet miss the true essence that quietly lies.
For truth isn’t spoken; it’s felt in the air,
A knowing, a presence, beyond mere affair.
So let silence speak volumes, let stillness be strong,
In the realm of our hearts, where we truly belong.
