Anger

In shadows it creeps, a tempest concealed,

A whisper of chaos that’s hard to be healed.

With each pulse of fury, the heart beats in haste,

A fire ignited, consuming with waste.

It rumbles and rages, a storm in the chest,

While logic departs on an unruly quest.

The mind once so clear, now muddled and strained,

In anger's tight grip, reason's power is drained.

Thoughts twist and collide, like thunder they clash,

Words spill like stones in a furious crash.

In moments of wrath, bridges crumble and break,

Connections dissolve in the heat of the ache.

The body itself feels the weight of the fight,

With tension like shackles, it darkens the light.

Muscles constrict as the fury ascends,

A prisoner bound where tranquility ends.

Yet beneath all the rage, a flicker remains,

A whisper of peace in the midst of the chains.

For anger may burn, but it also can teach,

To seek understanding, compassion to reach.

So let not the blaze lead us down to despair,

For in every tempest, there lies a repair.

Take heed of the moment, when wrath starts to rise,

And choose the soft path where the heart truly ties.

In harmony’s embrace, let the anger subside,

Transforming the fire to a gentle guide.

For in conquering anger, we flourish and thrive,

While nurturing love helps our spirits revive.
