Cry

In shadows deep where silence sighs,
A tear escapes, no clear disguise.
What stirs within, I cannot say,
As questions linger, they drift away.
“What troubles you?” the voices chime,
Yet words elude, lost in the grime.
A storm inside, a quiet fight,
With no horizon, just endless night.
Memories swirl like autumn leaves,
Fleeting whispers, heart deceives.
Invisible weight, it weighs me down,
With smiles worn thin, I still won’t drown.
I seek the light, but it’s hard to find,
In a haze of thoughts, so intertwined.
So here I stand, with tears on my cheek,
In this tangled web, it’s solace I seek.
Perhaps it’s sorrow, or joy left unspun,
A mix of both as days come undone.
For sometimes tears don’t need a why,
They’re simply the echoes of the heart's soft cry.
