Bitterness

The way you act,

The way you speak.

Why so?

What have thy done,

To receive such treatment.

With the world,

In such disarray.

Your bitterness,

Is in the way.

Learn to love,

Learn to let go.

Let go of the hurt,

Let go of the pain.

Time to move on,

To be bitter is not.

Not the way to go,

The bitterness in you,

Show's your true character.

A bitter person,

Holding a grudge forever.

That kind of bitterness,

Will get you nowhere.

Hey Hey everyone, i hope you are all staying safe and healthy during this tough time through this pandemic. hopefully it all passes some time soon, because i would like things to go back to normal! anyway's....so this poem here, is basically speaking to someone who is just plain bitter, and wont let things from the past go. so there bitterness, effects them in ways which is unfortunate. this isn't really directed at anyone, but the views i have on certain people, this shoe would fit them if they laced it up. hopefully you all enjoy this poem! thank you for reading!!
