Good Enough

Sitting by the phone,

Waiting for a call.

Your eyes water,

As you utter the words

Maybe i'm not,

Not good enough.

Tears falling down your cheek,

As the phone rings.

But it's not the call she wanted,

So she cries harder.

And says it even louder,

I'm not good enough.

I'm not pretty enough,

For him.

Or maybe i am?

Maybe i am good enough.

It must be reversed,

Maybe hes not.

Not good enough for me,

I am beautiful.

I am good enough,

I know my worth.

I am good enough.

Hey y'all!!! i hope you are all doing well! my laptop glitched on me as i was getting ready to post this here poem, so guess what i had to do. START ALL OVER AGAIN!!! sooooo Aggravating to the fullest man. but anyways, Don't Ever let any man woman or child anyone! say that you yourself are not good enough. because honestly we are all good enough for something, even someone. ya feel me? We all have our independence. we all live and do things differently. but that doesn't mean we're not good enough! Because WE ARE GOOD ENOUGH! confidence is key baby! Happy Reading y'all
