Waiting

Sitting around,
Looking up to the clouds.
It starts to rain,
You start to wonder,
Is this worth it?
Trying not to give in,
So you still sit there,
And just wait.
Watching all the cars drive,
Some stare at you,
Others just drive by.
Soon your patience,
Starts running thin.
So you get up,
And start walking away.
As you walk,
You hear a voice,
In the distance.
Someone calling your name,
So you turn around.
To your surprise it's him,
The one you've been waiting on.
He keeps yelling your name,
Yet you keep on walking.
He stops,
Looking at you in confusion.
Then he thinks,
Maybe i shouldn't have done that.
But what?
Sending her a text,
As it reads,
I'm sorry.
She replies,
For what?
His reply is yet so simple,
For keeping you,
Keeping you waiting.
Hey hey hey!! yeah buddy! back with another one! hope everyone's day/week has been decent as tomorrow is Friday!! anybody got plans? me? no lol haha i have work but hey gotta make that moneeeyyy. anyway! to talk about this here poem, judging by the title and the ending the background to this poem should be fairly self explanatory. but what i am saying here for my fellas, try not to leave us ladies waiting for too long. because when you start to show up late, we could easily lose interest. or if you just keep us waiting on you in general then yeah, eventually we will probably lose interest. y'all get the message here? hope so! happy reading!
