Celebrating Life

Thinking ahead,

Yet looking behind.

Day after day,

We age.

What is life,

What is it really.

Some enjoy it,

The rest hate it.

Some love it,

Some really despise it.

Once a year,

We celebrate.

But what is it?

What do we celebrate.

It can be many things,

But that one main thing,

Can be important.

That one thing,

Most go all out.

Others just sit,

Sit alone and dwell.

Dwell on the negative,

Rather than strive,

On the positives.

Some may have,

Get together's.

Heck,

Even party hardy.

But what,

Are we celebrating?

That's the main,

The main question here.

So what is it?

That we celebrate.

Once a year,

Oh that's easy.

It's life,

We celebrate life.

There's another word,

For this celebration.

But what is it?

Yet another question.

And that answer would be,

A birthday.

HELLO EVERYONE!!! i am so so so soooo sorry i have not posted anything in forever! i have been super slacking on a lot of things besides this here. but basically this inspiration to this one is the fact that my birthday is coming up this Saturday October 27th. i'll be turning 23 oh my gosh i am getting old!! lol but yeah, we celebrate life in the form of a birthday every year. so hey, why not write something about it right? lol well hopefully you guys like this here. happy reading!
