I've Learned

The days go on,

The light goes out.

Today was alright,

Though yesterday,

Was not.

The weeks go on,

The time runs low.

Today i learned,

Not everyone is there.

For you,

Or for me.

The closest,

Are the real ones.

The ones who stick,

And never leave.

The ones,

Who never let,

Your heart bleed.

What i have learned,

This year,

Is some leave.

And some may stay,

The real ones stay.

The no heart,

And non real

Are the ones who leave.

I have learned,

To take the good days,

Along with the bad.

And just forgive those,

Who have hurt me.

I forgive for me

And not for thee.

The things i have learned,

This year alone.

Have helped me,

To see me,

And love me.

I have learned,

To be me.

HELLO TO ALL OF MY LOYAL READERS!! THE DAY HAS FINALLY COME!! POEM NUMBER 100!!! i honestly can not believe that i have come this far! Going based off the title of this poem, pretty much gives you the description on what this poem is about. i have definitely learned a lot of things this year. a lot about people and what has initially happened this year alone. We all learn a lesson in life, just gotta take it with a grain of salt and live on. things may not be the same, even you yourself, but you will turn in to a better you with the lessons you have learned!
