Sounds

Looking around,

Hearing it all.

Birds chirping,

To children's laughter.

You take another gander,

At the scary site.

Hearing the cries,

And the screams.

As you run closer,

To not only see,

But to hear it.

The horror scene,

The thing you forever,

Dreaded to see.

A body,

Laying there.

As he screams,

Help me!

She looks around,

As everyone starts to disappear.

She listens harder,

As the screams fade.

Her surroundings,

Start to fade.

The man screaming,

His screams died with him.

As for she,

Wakes up.

From a horrible scene,

What she thought was real.

Was a dream,

Yet it felt so real.

It was not,

The sounds she heard.

Was all,

Just a dream.

Sounds all around her,

She looks,

Yet sees nothing.

For she has awoken.

Thinking to herself,

What a dream.

So many things seen,

The worst sounds.

Thank god,

It was just a dream.

Hey y'all!!! back at it again with another poem for yous!!! this one here i'd say is a little suspenseful? what would you call it? lol This is just something from pure imagination and creativity i guess. i can write any style honestly. not all have to rhyme. but to have a flow and a story to tell is some of the best poetry i'd say! but hopefully you guys like this one!
