Standing there,

Looking at your past.

Thinking to yourself,

I wish it would last.

Or even would have,

But its time to let it go.

The memory of you,

Is sweet.

But not completely,

It's more bittersweet.

Thinking of all the good,

Wondering what went wrong.

Slowly slipping away,

As you realize it is time.

Time to move on,

It is over.

The memory may remain,

But slowly start to fade.

As for your heart,

Needs to move on.

Starting to walk away,

As you smile at the past.

And start living,

For the future.

Looking around,

For you have realized,

That your heart has moved.

Moved on for the better,

Most of all it has moved,

For you.

Hey everyone!! this might be a bit of a shorter one but hey! at least i wrote today! but anyway, this here is for the men and ladies. it may be really hard for you to move on once you have been in a relationship for awhile and then it just ends. so many things go through your mind like why me? what did i do wrong? blah blah ya know how it is, i mean i do anyway. moving on though, as hard as it may be to move on it needs to happen. your only hurting yourself by holding on to what was and not is anymore. ya feel me? hopefully you do. letting go and moving on will make you feel so much better and not so trapped by the past. it may be hard but you will get through it. life gets better after , i promise <3 Happy reading everyone!
