The Mixup

The phone,

Ringing.

Playing the music,

Yet she answers.

The worry,

Sets in.

She asks,

For me?

But whom,

Could it be.

Thinking out loud,

Who wants me?

i'm not special,

Or am i?

As she asks herself,

Who could it be?

Thinking,

Should she worry,

or think not to.

As the day continues,

She still wonders,

Oh whom could it be.

Asking for she.

The descriptions,

Draw her a blank.

Her heart almost sank,

As for she looks.

Looks at the one,

And the only.

She laughs,

As she realizes,

There was never a reason.

A reason to have to,

Have to worry.

For she has seen,

The mix up.

Whom she thought was a danger,

Was never that.

She drops her hat,

As she apologizes.

For the mix up,

And for the false alarm.

She picks herself up,

And explains.

As the mix up,

Is someone she knows.

Hey y'all! so this one here is somewhat like maybe a poem/ short story in a sense. but to explain where this one came from. today i had gotten a phone call that someone was looking for me at work, mind you it was not a co worker looking for me. but it was a customer. got the description and i had absolutely no friggen clue on who it could have been. so i wont lie i definitely started to freak the hell out and worry. so i ended up going up to my job to see a picture of this person because they had a picture from the security cameras. so, i got up to the job found my manager, he showed me the picture and i immediately face palmed myself. it was a good friend of mine that i haven't seen in awhile, the descriptions i had gotten about him i didn't think of my friend because he does look a little different now. but i like ended up laughing and telling my manager that the guy in the picture wasn't my stalker. so yeah, see where the mix up happened? lol hopefully y'all will enjoy this here!
