The Silence That Speaks

There are moments when silence consumes the air,

A weight so heavy, it’s almost unfair.

When thoughts collide in a thunderous storm,

And words, like fragile leaves, refuse to form.

I stand before you, silent and still,

A blank canvas with a heart that cannot fill

The void that swells with unspoken truths,

Lost in the chasm of unvoiced youth.

In the hush, I feel a thousand things—

Love, sorrow, hope, the pain that stings.

Yet words evaporate like mist at dawn,

Leaving me grasping, lost and withdrawn.

How do I reach through this muted sea,

To say what’s burning inside of me?

A symphony of feelings, a choir of tears,

Constrained by the absence of spoken years.

Sometimes words falter, stumble, fall—

Too fragile to carry the weight of it all.

They hide behind the veil of doubt,

Leaving silence to scream and shout.

It’s in these moments, quiet and bare,

That I realize how much I truly care.

For sometimes, words are not enough,

To express how much life is tough.

Yet within this silence, a voice still blooms,

In subtle gestures, in silent tunes.

A gentle touch, a knowing glance,

Speaks volumes where words can’t dance.

So I sit in the stillness, feeling the ache,

Knowing someday, my voice will wake.

Until then, I’ll cherish the quiet’s grace,

For it holds the truth in its silent embrace.

The language of the heart, unspoken, still true,

Lingers beyond what words can do.
