Tension Among Thou

In a quiet neighborhood, peace held its sway,

But a doorbell with a camera sparked drama one day.

Neighbors peeked out from behind their closed blinds,

As whispers grew louder, and tension entwined.

"Who’s watching us now?" one neighbor would say,

While another grew restless, "It's just in the way!"

Accusations flew like confetti in air,

Over a gadget that captured a few moments rare.

“Did you see that footage? They were on my lawn!”

The drama escalated from dusk until dawn.

With huffs and with puffs, tempers flared bright,

Over pixels and wires, they’d argue all night.

What started as laughter quickly turned sour,

As friends turned to foes in a matter of hours.

Disputes over privacy, respect, and trust,

All sparked by a doorbell; it was crazy, or just?

Yet in the end, when the dust settled low,

They realized the folly of letting it grow.

A doorbell's mere function, a simple facade,

Had unraveled their bonds, but now they could nod.

So here's to the tempers that flicker then fade,

And lessons in patience that oft must be made.

For while little things may ignite quite a fire,

It’s love and connection that we should desire.
