Ignorance

In a meadow where wildflowers sway,
I dance with shadows of yesterday,
Unfettered by burdens, I find my way,
In sweet embrace, I choose to stay.
The world spins wild with its endless plight,
Yet here I dwell, in soft twilight,
Where whispers of breezes softly ignite,
The heart of a dreamer, soft and light.
What is the climb of a mountain high?
What knowledge of stardust that fills the sky?
In ignorance, I find a lullaby,
A melody sweet, where my worries die.
No news to weigh my spirit down,
Just nature’s grace in this quiet town,
Each breath a secret, each spin a crown,
In the garden of bliss, I softly drown.
The ticking clock may urge us to see,
But I linger in moments, just being me,
In ignorance, I sip my cup of tea,
And savor the silence, oh, how carefree.
